Is it whistle-blowing to write a blog post about #whathappensinvegas? Let’s assume it is ok to highlight what is already on Twitter, Google+, Vimeo, … and keep silent about the rest.

Twitter is cool, you get all the latest news about serious technology innovation and the yellow press content in one place. But you have to be flexible with your tools, as with frequently changing API’s and access rights all these smart add-on’s have a hard time to stay in business. I use ‘The Twitter Pics Engine’ twicsy for picture research this time and it is a lot of fun to browse through the event. Just execute the search, click on a picture of your choice and you will find the SAP TechEd tweets you missed.

The feature I miss most is to get a ‘trending faces’ timeline. Any start-up reading this? I will support your kickstarter project!

Some activities are trending obviously:

Use the links above to watch the Demo Jam video. And here is the winner:

Have you seen the band? Great songs, cool performance, the yellow balloon, … No yellow balloon? Thursday evening? Oh no, I don’t talk about Imagine Dragons, I talk about the SAP Jam Band, or the Rumspringa event on Wednesday, as Mark Finnern calls it.

Looking for even more SAP TechEd photos? Check the flickr pages from Martin Lang, Martin Gillet and myself.

See you in Amsterdam next week? Let’s rock SAP TechEd! And of course: What happens in Amsterdam, stays in Amsterdam 🙂

Best regards,

Matthias
