SAP Forum events are the must-to-attend series not only for widely-spread SAP ecosystem but for SAP employees as well. Every SAP-man knows that's the best place to meet old friends and welcome new ones. The program is so intensive and parallelized that it's quite hard to find the niche to present own piece. Fortunately, SAP University Alliances CIS has enough reputation and visibility to get the slot, room and attendees.

SAP Forum Moscow is traditionally the flagman SAP initiative for CIS region attracting partners and customers from all over the vast Russia territory and even from the neighboring countries. This year, on April 11, 2013, SAP University Alliances CIS session greeted 91 participants from 40 universities representing 10 cities of Russia and Belorussia. In struggle to get these nice attendee numbers we focused on the strong and diversified agenda.

First of all, we decided to add some energy and informality to the very formal Forum format and invite students (usually not allowed). To find the reason for students' presentations at SAP Forum Moscow 2013 we organized the satellite event named «intellectual cross InnoJam Moscow» one day prior. 30+ students from 8 Moscow and Voronezh universities dreamt and prototyped smart cars and handy utilities with SAP HANA application. On April 11 student teams occupied SAP Forum Moscow 2013 demo-zone to present the developed concepts and get feedback from SAP network. Fair number of questions and appraisal of student solutions proved we were moving in the right direction.

Secondly, we added the serious note and made the public launch of the International student project-seminar «EDUPASS». It's the new format to shape master degree and to smoothly integrate the young professional into real work life. The seminar «EDUPASS» is the initiative of European Research Center for Information Systems in collaboration with T-Systems, SAP global partner, and Voronezh State University involving 4 German and 4 Russian students to 6-month internship at T-Systems place. We appreciated Prof. Endovitskiy, rector of Voronezh State University, and Prof. Becker, representing ERCIS, found time to visit the ceremony and say a few words about the importance of the initiative supported by SAP.

As the canvas of SAP University Alliances CIS session we presented our 2012 achievements, (the desert!) proposals 2013 and Q&A part.

3 hours passed as 10 minutes… Waiting for the fruits…

Sincerely yours,

SAP University Alliances CIS
