Learning has been a hot topic lately…or has it ever really not been? As the demographics of the workforce continues to grow and change so does the expectations of workplace learners.  Learners want greater personalization in their choices. They want to take training on the road, they want something in “bite size” chunks, they want an overview video to determine if they even want to take the course… Not a big surprise as I bet many of you reading this invite will check your email or text before you are done. This is a ‘now’ and ‘my way’ generation. So, why would we anticipate learning expectations would be any different?

With budgets tight, we have to make the training we do counts. By measuring the effect of the training we do, we can make better choices on the programs we offer – what methods of training for particular classes is the most effective? What was the impact of the training program – on your bottom line – on  your performance?

What is a #SAPChat?
A #SAPChat is an SAP-organized online conversation, held at a pre-arranged time, between a group of Twitter users, using a specific Twitter hashtag to
identify the discussion.

How Do I Participate?
On the day of the event, log-in into tweetchat.com and enter #SAPChat into the search bar. We like using tweetchat.com because it will automatically add the hashtag to your tweets as you participate in the chat. Alternatively, you can use your favorite Twitter client (i.e. Tweet Grid, TweetDeck, TweetBot) or TwitterSearch to follow the chat hashtag.  During the event, you can follow the discussion, contribute questions, and submit your own comments by using the same hashtag.
Please feel free to submit any questions in advance in the comments section below and we look forward to “tweeting” with you there!

Hi Tammie.  I’m so glad to see this chat.  This is definitely a topic that is hot – but too often overlooked.  Thanks for organizing and communicating.  I will re-broadcast to ASUG members.
