The TechEd in Las Vegas, USA last week was first of 4 in 2013. This will be followed by TechEd”s at Amsterdam, Bangalore & Shangai.
It was an amazing TechEd with lots of improvements compared to previous TechEd”s – great Keynotes, flawless demos during the keynote, mind boggling InnoJam & DemoJam and an unbelievable music concert. I will write about the sessions and events in another blog … for now I just wanted to express what a fantastic event this was.
This was an awesome TechEd … one of the best business conferences I’ve attended. TechEd in Las Vegas was very well organized – good education tracks & topics, great presentations & demos, cool events like InnoJam, DemoJam and a mind blowing adrenaline raising concert by Imagine Dragons.
The best though was the people factor. The networking opportunity this event presented was unprecedented. I was fortunate to meet some of our SAP leaders. It was very satisfying to meet & have discussions with colleagues from Product Development & Product Management. TechEd offered excellent opportunity to network in the “Expert sessions”, “Meet the Speakers”, Networking areas, Clubhouse … I can go on & on. This was truly a cool networking & education event.
Kudos to the TechEd (& SCN) team and army of volunteers involved in making this happen.
When it was time to leave on Friday, I felt despair that TechEd had come to an end. But feel good about the opportunity to continue the dialogs & stay connected with our colleagues, partners & customers who I met.
