Hilights from SAP TechEd in Las Vegas
Last week at SAP TechEd we have a great lineup of sessions, events and activities to explore the topic of mobile security. We were overwhelmed with the number of people who stopped by the mobile security booth on the show floor. Our team collectively had hundreds of conversations about the importance of security when it comes to deploying mobile in any company.
Not only did we have a busy show floor, but we also had a significant press announcement. We were excited to announce major enhancements to all three technologies that make up the SAP Mobile Secure portfolio: SAP Afaria, SAP Mobile Documents and SAP Mobile App Protection by Mocana. Read my blog for all the details about specific enhancements to each product. If you’d prefer to get a quick summary the easy way, watch this short video interview of Benjamin Robbins asking me what I think is cool about what we announced.
If you weren’t able to join us onsite in Las Vegas, don’t worry! We thought ahead and decided that we can bring a bit of TechEd to you. Our experts each took a few minutes from the show floor to chat with Carolyn Fitton and provide an update on hot topics in the mobile security space including iOS7, Samsung KNOX, mobile app security and more.
Check out these videos:
- Matt Carrier on Securing Mobile Apps
- James Naftel on Securing iOS7 devices for Enterprise Use
- Bryan Whitmarsh on Managing the Samsung KNOX Container
- Matt Carrier on Secure Mobile Content
If you’re planning to be at SAP TechEd in Amsterdam, I encourage you to come meet James Naftel, Britt Womelsdorf, Senthil Krishnapillai and I at our booth in the exhibit hall. We’re happy to show you demos and get you started with trials of any of these technologies. If you won’t be there then I hope we’ll see you next year.
Thanks for reading and watching!
