As Run Better Startup Contest 2013 in Korea has been progressed satisfactorily in Idea and Software Development categories, it has attracted approximately 350 participants with many creative and innovative ideas.
Among all participants, 225 are current university students from more than 15 universities and they entered through various channels such as University promotion tour (Seoul National University, Yonsei University, University of Seoul, Soongsil University, Hongik University, Aju University, Kwangwoon University), online advertisement, SAP employees’ recommendation, and invitation letter through several major startup organizations.
InnoJam in Seoul was the great place of opportunity that future IT potentials get clear guidelines on how to develop their rough ideas in order to commence their business in the future. Although these 20 teams have competitive ideas as they successfully got through the 1st round, InnoJam provided them with a steppingstone for next round.
With 20 SAP mentors, 9 coaches, and 4 SAP experts(HANA, BI, Mobile), several outstanding programs such as Design Thinking workshop, introduction of SAP core technology, 3mins Elevator Pitch, Sharing stories about SAP and careers in SAP and even Yoga exercise played a helpful role in refreshing all participants and improving all different ideas from 20 teams.
