This document is a alternative of ABAP solution for PO output.

You have entered a freight condition in a purchase order. When you call the print preview, you recognize that this condition is not printed. You want to know why this condition is not printed. For this reason, you must know how to check the condition types and calculation schemas in purchase orders.

Check why the freight condition is not included in the output.

Determine the calculation schema for this purchase order and search for the indicator in the schema that controls the output.

Firstly , look at to the Create Purchase Order screen and select the Conditions tab page in the Item screen area.

Secondly, choose the Analysis pushbutton below the table with the pricing elements. The calculation schema is specified on the top left side. The calculation schema is RM0000.

Thirdly , In Customizing for Materials Management under Purchasing → Conditions → Define Price Determination Process → Define Calculation Schema , select schema RM0000 . In the Dialog Structure pane, double-click Control data . Whether a condition type is to be included in the output is controlled by the Print indicator. For condition type FRB1 , the indicator is blank, and is therefore not printed in the output.

Example :

*ME21N item details, with a freight cost.

* SPRO/MM/PURCHASING/CONDITIONS ——— MER5 tcode for calculation schema definition

* We can add condition details with item level or header level in PO output.

    This is not an alternative to ABAP, this is just the standard method to get conditions printed on a document.

    Can we now expect a document for each other field in the calculation schema?

      hi Mr.Jurgen ;

      I wrote that ‘It is a alternative to ABAP’ when i wanted to say ‘ Abap is not necessary , you can implement freight costs in standart behaviour.

      If anyone do not get information about standart behaviour , he/she can try to implement with Abap code.

        Hi Mehmet,

        Thanks for the info,

        I have a problem in texts printing in PO that are supposed to be internal.

        do i go the same method?

        We created header document texts that our internal app rovers use to note down important aspects of the PO however, this is printing on the PO.

        Kindly assist.

        Thanks.

        Carol

          Hi Njue ;

          This example is related with condition types. I hope that your problem is related PO header text , you can benefit from  SMARTFORMS.

          Check your PO Smartform , Nace tcode will help you , type F , routines and look at.

          Regards.
