zSPMon is a transaction to monitor the progress of the import of support packages.

After starting an import of support packages on SPAM or SAINT you can run transaction zSPMon to monitor the import progress of the support packages.

So far this tool monitors phases DDIC IMPORT and MAIN IMPORT and it is not part of the standard product.

How to install it

Download attached transport request and import it to the system before starting the import in SPAM or SAINT.

How to use it

In this example, it is defined a PI_BASIS queue from SP 0001 to SP 0004:

Nice tool! Thanks for the information and hopefully, it’ll incorporate in SUM in future, especially long process during shadow_import.

    Thanks,

    Dear All,

unfortunately the current blog implementation does not allow attachments and therefore the attachment has been deleted during migration from SCN.

I will contact Vagner via mail and ask him to provide the transport file via other means (e.g. external link, SCN Wiki or in the Q&A section)

    Kind regards
    Harald (Moderator)

    Dear All,

the project during which this transaction was created has been discontinued a few years ago. Therefore the transports are not available anymore.

I will delete this blog in a few weeks.

    Kind regards
    Harald
