If you have the Analysis Addin loaded, you can't resize an Excel Comment, in any workbook, by using the Left Mouse button, regardless of whether that Comment is in an Analysis Workbook, on an Analysis Worksheet, or in a SAP Crosstab range. If the Analysis Add-in is not loaded, you CAN use the Left Mouse button to resize Excel Comments. So it seems the Analysis Add-in is trapping the Left-Click event, but mishandling the event when the user is interacting with Comments, and so an attempt to resize a Comment results in a move rather than a resize....
Short of a fix from SAP, how can you resize comments without first disabling the Analysis Add-in?
Simple: Use the Right Mouse button to resize comments.
I've encountered this behaviour, and workaround, while using Office 2007 and Analysis 1.4. You might find different behaviour with Office 2003/2010 and/or different versions of the Analysis Addin.
