EMEA: SAP University Alliances Event in Israel (October 8, 2013)

On October 8, 37 faculty members from 19 academic institutions in Israel participated in a SAP University Alliances Info Session in the SAP Labs office in Ra’anana.

Throughout several presentations, the professors were introduced to the core pillars of the SAP University Alliances program and the possible cooperation benefits. Within this framework, the “LEARN, APPLY, SHARE, RECRUIT” – concept, innovation projects and various ways in implementing SAP software into their teaching was presented. This included the hosting offering from the UCC Munich as well as eLearning offerings like erp4students and the SAP Student Academy.

In addition to that, a new angle to the program was presented – the SAP Universities Ambassadors program, taking advantage of the 750 SAP Labs employees and the strong cooperation with the SAP Labs Israel Managing Director, Mickey Steiner. SAP employees are assigned to specific universities/colleges in which they serve as a point of contact for all student-related activities and initiatives.

The event was well received by the attendees and was followed by great media coverage:
