Here is the final update from my social sabbatical in Shanghai. A very rewarding experience during which I learned a lot about myself and how to be more effective in my role at SAP as well as in my local community
Here is my update from week 3 in Shanghai
Here is my week 2 update from the social sabbatical program in Shanghai
My name is Andy Cobbold and I am lucky enough to have been selected as part of this years social sabbatical program. That means I have left my home in Vancouver and am working for 4 weeks in Shanghai, China with a non-profit organisation called NPI.
We are helping them build a strategic plan for the next 5 years as well as a plan for 2014 to both help engage the team as well as to get everyone pulling in the same direction. We are also having a lot of fun and enjoying some terrific food.
You can hear how the first week of this great experience has been in the video below
Hey Andy, great video blog! Keep them coming:). Best, Alex

I just posted my final update from what has been a truly rewarding experience – I am very proud to work for a company that is genuinely trying to make a difference in this world, in part by donating the skills of its employees to non-profit organizations that really need the help 🙂
