Dress Smartly. Get a Data Geek Shirt at TechEd!

TechEd is right around the corner. I am getting ready to pack my bags and on the top of my list is a reminder to pack my cool Data Geek shirt. It’s comfortable, fashionable and quite simply awesome! The limited edition Data Geek 2.0 Rise of Dark Data shirts are usually given only to participants of the Data Geek Challenge, but we have decided to bring some to give away at TechEd! (Side note – Not familiar with the Data Geek Challenge, you can learn more at www.sap.com/dategeek)

Looks cool, right? So, how can you get one at SAP TechEd Las Vegas?

• Participate in the Data Geek Challenge: Don’t know how/where to start? No worries. Bring your data and go visit the Lumira Booth in the InfoZone. There will be experts there that can help you get started with SAP Lumira and create awesome visualizations on your own device with your own data.

• Spot a tweet-away and be the first to act and tweet your response to @SAPLumira: Each includes a special task that you will need to complete. (For example, there may be one that asks you to tweet a photo of you with the Big Data Boss….).

• Be the first to tweet the correct answer to an SAP Lumira trivia question: We have a few special tweet-aways scheduled. Remember to follow @SAPLumira so you don't miss them.

• Find the limited edition ‘Lord of Dark Data’ (Lumira’s archenemy, referencing the Data Geek Challenge) card and bring it to the SAP Lumira booth in the InfoZone. There are only 20 of them hidden in the conference area. Keep your eyes out for them! They can be anywhere…

Well, we want to see how awesome you look in your Data Geek shirt. Strike your favorite superhero pose and tweet the photo to @SAPLumira for the chance to be crowned the Ultimate Social Data Geek. And wear it at TechEd! The Data Geek Squad will be in their Data Geek gear and roaming the hallways to find other fellow Da... and free high-5’s, anyone? :smile:
