SAP Future IT Leader Summit in Fudan University, 16th Oct, 2013

On 16th October, 2013 SAP Labs China TechCamp was held in Fudan University. 1200 students and 20 faculties from 10 Universities including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, East China University of science and technology, Shanghai University of Technology, Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and other Universities participated in this event.

SAP Labs China TechCamp is an innovative platform powered by SAP, Universities and Celebrities to cultivate future IT leaders.

1.Welcome Speech

At the beginning, Wang Xiaoyang, Dean of the Computer Science School and Software School of Fudan University, gave the opening address. He expressed his warm welcome to all the audience.

2.Key-note Speech

Then,Gerhard Oswald, member of the Executive Board, delivered the key-note speech. After his speech, he visited the outdoor booths and the Exhibition Room of Fudan University with the companion of Prof. Wang Xiaoyang, Clas Neumann (Head of SAP Labs Network), Xiaoqun Clever (President of SAP Labs China), and Dr. Ruicheng Li (COO of SAP Labs China).

3. Introduction of SAP and SAP Technology

Yuan Hong, Vice President of SAP Labs China, introduced the overview of SAP Company and SAP technology.

4.Experience Sharing: How to plan your life

The famous compere of Dragon TV – Lin Hai shared his experience about how to plan your life gracefully with the students.  His speech was very attractive and invited audience's strong resonance.

5.Panel Discussion: How to become IT leaders

The last session in the morning was the Panel Discussion to talk about how to prepare yourself for future IT leader. The host of the panel was Jenny Yang, Senior Manager of University Alliances China. Guest speakers were Yang Deqing, Deputy Party Secretary of Computer Science School of Fudan University; Amy Dong, Director of Human Resources of SAP China Labs; Yuan Hong, Vice President of SAP Labs China; Hu
Jian, Partner of Hangzhou Smilodon Information and Technology Co., Ltd., former CIO of Nongfu Spring;  Luo Ying, Vice President of Junior Achievement. They discussed students how to become IT leaders and put up with their own opinions from different perspectives.
