  • Missing statistical value in invoice on free of charge items and that gives incomplete items when doing the Intrastat.
  • The item category on the order is – free of charge
  • Net value is zero
Cause
  • It is a common customer query that free of charge items cannot be provided to the authorities with a value of 0.00 to 1 but must reflect the real cost of the goods. This interpretation differs throughout the various countries throughout the EU.

This is how to handle free of charge deliveries for export.

  • In the case of export transactions, the statistical value (condition type GRWR) must be determined in the billing document. As a prerequisite for this, normal pricing must take place because the condition GRWR is displayed as a percentage of a price.

Solution

  • You have to have a price in the billing item to be able to fill the statistical value. You therefore have to price the item fully and include a 100% discount to reduce the actual item value to zero. This has the effect of providing the VBRP-NETWR value that is required to calculate the statistical value. See SAP note 33258 for details.
