The plans are finalized for the clubhouse in Vegas and Amsterdam!

Come take a break from your busy TechEd schedule to connect and collaborate at the Clubhouse! Swing by for a specialty coffee or an energy drink at the Clubhouse Café while you recharge your devices and connect with old and new friends.

This year, the Clubhouse will feature:

  • “SCN is 10!” History Wall: 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of SCN! Join the celebration and see 10 years of SCN history come to life. Featuring key milestones, pictures and videos, the history wall also features a whiteboard- so come leave your mark by sharing ideas for the future of SCN!
  • Professional Headshot Photographer: Visit the SAP Community Network (SCN) headshot photographer to build your personal brand and get a perfect pic for your SCN profile.
  • SCN Sticker Badges: While you’re working on your headshot, pick up stickers of the badges you’ve earned for completing SCN missions to display proudly on your TechEd attendee badge.

  • Gamification: Visit the Clubhouse to earn a badge and points. Just have your attendee badge scanned at the headshot station or the sticker pickup station. Doing so will earn you a Club House badge, and 2 SCN points as well!

  • Foosball: Unleash your competitive side at this 16-player table, or simply root for your favorite “fooser”; from the sidelines.
  • Digital Graffiti Wall: Who needs mad skillz to paint? Anyone can grab a digital spray can and give it a whirl. Print your masterpiece, or share it with the world through your social media channels.
  • Whiteboards on Wheels: Grab a whiteboard and host your own ad hoc knowledge sharing session.

We hope you can join us for great conversations, the best coffee at the event, and a lot of fun while you recharge your devices and catch up with your fellow community members. The clubhouse is full of exciting activities and networking sessions, so it’s a must see at SAP TechEd 2013.

And if you have not done so already, be sure to update your event registration with your SCN ID to earn the TechEd “I’ll be there badge”. Check out Audrey Stevenson’s blog for more details!

      Hi Abesh,

Krysten Gentile may be able to provide more information, but I think at least some of the same elements that we are having at the clubhouse in Las Vegas and Amsterdam will be available in Bangalore, regardless of whether there is an official “clubhouse” area (which I don’t know).

For example, I believe you will be able to pick up stickers of the SCN badges you have earned, and if you get your attendee badge (the one you hang around your neck) scanned when you’re picking up your stickers, you’ll earn the Clubhouse badge on SCN too (after the event is over).

Looking forward to a fun TechEd!

I love playing foosball, so beware 🙂 In France we call it “babyfoot”, I have no idea why.

Everyone please come to the clubhouse to meet with us and learn more about SCN!

    😥 😥 😥 😥

I will not be able to attend TechEd this year.

Any plans for TechEd in Brazil for 2014??? 😆

Foosball in Brazil has some different names depending the regiond you live: pebolim, totó, fla-flu, …

    Hi Krysten

I’m really looking forward to a full fledged clubhouse. Last year there was too much empty space at SAP TechED Madrid.

Can’t wait to try out the 16 player foosball, the digital graffiti and throw in some knowledge sharing on a whiteboard 😎 .

    Best regards

    Tom

And so cool that the idea of the whiteboards for ad-hoc knowledge sharing caught on!!

        *stoked*

You’ll definitely be able to find me at the clubhouse, going into discussion with other SAP Professionals to draw up ideas, architectures, screen designs and what not!

        Yay!!

just one thing: will there be more seating opportunities available? My poor back really suffered from walking and standing all day.
