Monday October 21 Hack Day

Tuesday October 22 Sessions

The way we connect to developers, customers, partners, startups, and students is fundamentally changing. Join us for SAP TechEd Meetup Palo Alto on Oct 21st and 22nd to connect directly with customers, learn about the latest development trends and topics, and exchange insights with fellow developers in the Silicon Valley.

On day one, put your skills to the test by participating in Hack Day and solving real-life companies’ challenges. For one of the challenges, you’ll have the opportunity to work with experts from Ford’s Silicon Valley Lab and SAP to create the next generation of connected car apps and services. You’ll have access to cutting-edge APIs like OpenXC and SAP’s Connected Car API, SAP HANA, as well as to a host of other technologies. Another challenge will provide similar scenarios in the Digital Healthcare space (stay tuned for additional details).

On day two, learn about how companies are using the latest technologies to develop new apps and consumer experiences. Hear from technology visionaries such as Dr. Vishal Sikka, Scott McNealy and Stephen O’Grady on the impact of technology on the enterprise and software development. Participate in discussions with industry experts about the hottest development tools, techniques and trends. Meet SAP experts for technical how-to sessions on some the newest functionalities added to SAP’s platforms such as ad-hoc query, natural language processing, geo-location and predictive analytics.

The event will take place on Monday, October 21st (hack day) and Tuesday, October 22nd (sessions).

The event is free but space is limited. Registration starts the week of October 7th.
