Weird behaviour in PA infotypes

Just a quick, but probably helpful info:

We’ve had verious customers reporting “weird” behavious in some PA infotypes recently. Examples comprise not setting the correct employment status for leavers in infotype 0000 and vanishing part time flag in infotype 0007. But there are other issues.

These errors have been caused by Note 1788995 – PY-IN: Dual Language Handling in PA Infotypes, which messed up such a crucial piece of coding as MPPERS00 (probably the best possible choice, if you want to mess up PA-PA )

I highly recommend to apply SAP note 1866133, which should solve all those issues.

I’d do this proactively, as some errors may not even become obvious right away and, e.g., result in a leaver being paid unintentionally.
