That is good info but disappointing at the same time.

Why is it disappointing at the same time?

I was hoping for more.  There was talk about 180 new apps before end of the year and wave 2 has only 15 ecc and 10 crm apps.  We as partners need more info on the pipeline so we don't run the risk of investing in developing a fiori type app that comes into direct competition with a sap standard app right away.

I believe the 155 (180 minus 25) refers to other non transactional Fiori apps.

Wave 2 being the 25 extra transactional Fiori Apps.

      Hi Pim,

Thanks for sharing this.  I'm looking forward to hearing more about these apps (and hopefully more on the horizon) at TechEdLV.

      Cheers

      Hi Pim,

I did the same thing at Amsterdam and i got following answer:

"We can not give a hard date due to legal restrictions, but it should be early in Q1 of 2014"

      Regards,

      Robin

      Hi Dominik and others,

I just attended a webinar "SAP Fiori Architecture & Extensibility" presented by Helge Soring from SAP. He told that the wave 2 apps have been released last friday, November 29th.

On the Product Availibilty Matrix site (http://service.sap.com/pam) I notice the new Fiori product UI FOR EHP7 FOR SAP ERP 6.0, official name SAP Fiori for SAP ERP 1.0, with planned release 29-11-2013. It refers to Note 1914499 - Release Information Note: UI FOR EHP7 FOR SAP ERP 6.0.

Still I cannot find much more information on these wave 2 apps.

      Regards, Remco

The PAM now has some info on new Fiori apps in Rampup - GA Q1 2014.  These seem to require NW 7.4 systems so that will certainly limit the availability for customers.

SAP Fiori for SAP Portfolio and Project Management 1.0

SAP Fiori for SAP Access Control 1.0

SAP Fiori for SAP SRM 1.0 - Guess this is a bundle for all the SRM apps?

SAP Fiori for SAP CRM 1.0 - Again is SAP now bundling the apps?  (hope so, it is not much fun dealing with 100 plus app packages and individual patches going forward 🙂 )

SAP Fiori for SAP ERP 1.0 - Here we should see the ECC apps.

Not much else visible in the PAM or in the mobile app download area on the service marketplace.  Would be great if someone on the inside could give us all some clarity 😉
