RFC Function Parameter Value Issue

Dear All

we are calling RFC Function and passing value of parameter

objIRfcFunction.SetValue("DELIVER_DOC", DELIVER_DOC);

but in SAP it will take only single character and while i m calling function from SAP it will work correct . please suggest me how i will trace this issue . please help me.
