How to install Wily introscope in windows environment

SAP Note 797147 is the central entry point for up to date information regarding the installation of Introscope. Review the latest version of this note before you start the installation. You also find a list of frequently asked questions attached to the note.

Download the necessary file from service market place:

Support Packages and Patches -> Browse our Download Catalog --> SAP

Technology Components -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER -> SAP SOLUTION

MANAGER 7.1 -> Entry by Component ->

Download the latest SAPCAR from service marketplace.

Download Third-Party External Component Package from CA

Select the appropriate files for windows installation.Here it is  osgiPackages.v9.1.5.0.windows.zip & eula.txt.

Extract the SAR file with the following command:

SAPCAR –xvf WILY_IS_EM*.SAR

 As a result you will find four files: The file installer.properties which configures the installation procedure, one of the installer files mentioned above, depending on your platform, ca-eula.txt which is the CA End User License Agreement and version.txt showing the version of the Enterprise Manager.

 The installation of the Enterprise Manager by default goes to the following directories: 

• Windows: C:\\usr\\sap\\ccms\\apmintroscope\\

• Download the eula.txt and  osgiPackages.v9.1.5.0.windows.zip and kept it in the Wily introscope installation folder.

• Open the file eula.txt in a text editor, read the license, and modify the last line to read LGPL=accept. If the license is not accepted    installation will fail.

• Also open file ca-eula.txt in a text editor, read the license, and modify the last line to read CA-EULA=accept. If the license is not accepted installation will fail.

•Launch the installer pacakage:

  Double-click on the installer executable e.g. introscope9.1.5.0windowsSAP.exe, or launch it from command-line with the suitable command e.g.

introscope9.1.5.0windowsSAP.exe

  You can see the installation in C:\\usr\\sap\\ccms\\apmintroscope\\.
