We are excited to host our first SAP TechEd Meetup in Palo Alto on October 21-22! This is an event for developers interested in hacking solutions for real-life business challenges, discovering how to use new technologies to create advanced apps and user experiences, and exchanging insights with other developers.
On day one, put your creativity and skills to the test by participating in Hack Day. Work directly with experts from Ford’s Silicon Valley Labs and SAP to create the next generation of connected car apps and services. Get access to cutting-edge APIs like OpenXC and SAP’s Connected Car API, in-memory computing platforms such as SAP HANA, and a host of other technologies. Check out some of the sample scenarios that you could be working on! Or, team up to build a new wave of Digital Healthcare apps and user experiences (stay tuned for additional details).
On day two, learn about trends, technologies and opportunities in enterprise software development from industry visionaries such as Dr. Vishal Sikka, Executive Board Member and Head of Development at SAP, Scott McNealy, former Chairman/CEO of Sun Microsystems, and Stephen O’Grady, Principal Analyst and co-founder of RedMonk. Participate in discussions with tech experts about the hottest development tools and techniques. Meet with SAP experts for technical how-to sessions on some of the newest functionalities added to SAP’s platforms (e.g. Ad hoc query, natural language processing, predictive analytics).
