New Features in ADT 2.16 for Web Dynpro ABAP development
Support for where-used of Web Dynpro ABAP controller artifacts
Where-used: It is now possible trigger Where-used on various Web Dynpro ABAP controller artifacts like methods, action, event handlers etc. The result are populated in search view.
Overview page for View Controller Editor
“Overview” page is added to View controller editor, where the developer can change the lifetime settings for View
UI Element tab is the default tab
When a UI element is selected in the layout page, General tab in Properties view is hidden and UI Element tab is selected by default. The offers better user experience where the developer selecting any UI element do not have to explicitly select the UI Element tab.
Improved image selection dialog:
In the layout page, the image selection dialog is improved to show the preview of the image, instead of just the name of the image.
The image dialog can be accessed for the image source UI element properties e.g. For the “Image” UI element’s “Source” property, click on Bind->To MIME
