Hello Friends,

I have found one good use case of SAP HANA for Mill Products by by Sunil Kumar Malkarikatika.

Accurate and timely production reports are key to the management decision making process.  In an heterogeneous IT landscape, totally depended on “Operational Reports” without any Enterprise Data Ware House solution for- diversified plant locations, varied input materials for each plant, variations in cost of material supplied to each plant, difference in product output and cost associated to manufacture them, needs a better analysis of raw material at every plant, and output from different plant, so as to control losses at early stages by controlling raw material cost, production and pricing of finished product.

SAP HANA allows key management personnel to focus on Key Performance Indicator (KPI's) reporting and analysis to get critical details about different levels/production hierarchy across different plant types to respond more intelligently to trends in sales, production, material usage, labor, supplier performance at different and more.

High Level Metrics used for decision making:

Plant Types

Casting, Cut and Bend, and Re-rolling
MetricsProduction, Raw Material, Operating Parameters and Major Input Price
MeasuresOpening Stock, Production/Procurement, Sales/Consumptions and Closing Stock
