Mass Tadir changes using SE03
In my current assignment we need to reorganize transport packages in our dev environment and perform massive changes to tadir entries. Althought in other opportunities I have used SE03 transactions or SM30->TADIR, I found the problem of update objects one by one.
However there is a hidden funcionality in SE03 transaction allowing the change in a MASSive way.
Let’s begin. Supossed we need to change objects from a transport package (ZINM_02) to a new or existing transport package with, for instance, different transport routes.
Step 1. Call Transaction SE03
Step 2. Click on Object Directory-> Change Object Directory Entries
Step 3. Fill selection criteria according to your case. In my case all objects from package ZINM_02. Execute
Step 4. Single Click on a group or one by one over each object and press F6 (Select/Deselect)
Step 5. In okcode box write MASS and press [Enter] – The magic begins
Step 6. In the new popup window you will be able to change for every selected object

Simply introduce the new data (or leave it blank if you don’t want to change it and press [Enter].

Just a hint to all, who do not want to waste hours and millions of nerve cells :-)))
Always restart used SE* (e.g. SE01) transactions. They have buffering, which makes me crazy sometimes... Your changes in SE03 won't be visible in SE01, unless you restart it !

Saved a lot of time.
If you want to change all entries found after selection, just go ahead with MASS. There is no need to mark all entries in the tree. All entries then will be changed
