On Thursday, 19 September, the Auckland Goethe Society in conjunction with the New Zealand German Business Association, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Faculty of Arts and the DAAD organized an information seminar on employability expectations of transnational German companies in New Zealand.
Tracey White (Executive Manager Healthcare Sector Siemens), Dr. Holger Detje (Managing Director of Bayer New Zealand) and Mike Malthus (Director – Services at SAP NZ) addressed an audience of some 80 students and staff in the Business School of University of Auckland in order to outline available pathways in world-leading businesses and key-competences essential to succeed on the globalized job market. The evening was moderated by Stephen Diver (Board Member of the New Zealand German Business Association).
After the seminar the audience had a chance to talk to the speakers in person at a reception hosted by the German Embassy.
