On October 4th, SAP Inside Track Newtown Square is taking place and I volunteered to present a session on BI called 'When Good BI Goes Bad or: When I learned to stop worrying and love the analytics I have'.  In a title homage to 'Dr. Strangelove', I was going to try and take a humorous look at some of the BI oops I've dealt with over the years.  Some have happy endings and some don't.  Heck, some don't even HAVE an ending- they're still going on!

As I stand here working on my presentation (having a bad back stinks sometimes!!), I thought that maybe others have some stories that are just as interesting.  So why not ask you, the best BI community out there, for your stories.  I won't critique or judge them, nor should others.  Sometimes it just feels good to vent and you can do it anonymously, if you'd like.

I'm calling the form 'BI Horror Stories'.  It sounds funny, but if you think about it- that's what they are.  As we sit around the coffee station at ASUG Annual Conference, the ribbon station at SBOUC or the bar at SAP TechEd and share our BI tales; we're telling 'horror' stories.  Some have good endings and some don't.  But they're OUR stories!

So, if you feel like you've got a good (or bad) one to share, drop by this Google doc and leave your story. If I get a few, I'll try and work as many stories as possible into the presentation.  Heck, if there are so many (and they're all better than mine)- I'll just make the session crowd sourced!  If you're in the area, register for SAP Inside Track Newtown Square and drop by any of the great sessions already on the schedule.  If you're not in the area, register and check out the SAP Connect streaming of the session rooms (technological glitches permitting)!

(Thanks in advance!!)
