Renewing old License Keys

Renewal of System Licenses

Reason :

when users logon, your system gets a pop-up.

“System License expires in ‘X’ days”

Solution :

Open the following link using  your S-USER ID

www.service.sap.com/system-data

search your system for which the license needs to be renewed, using the System ID or directly select if your system exists under “Your Recently Used Systems”

now select your system when it appears

The following screen appears

click on the “License Key & Maintenance Certificate” tab as shown above.

Now click give your E-Mail adress in the blank space and click on “Renew maintenance certificate(s)” tab

Now you may wait until the new license arrives to your inbox of the given E-Mail adress

once the New license is arrived, download it to a safe location.

Enter transaction SLICENSE

Click on the hightened tab

upload the previously downloaded file.

Congratulations, you have successfully renewed your SAP System license.
