RV College of Engineering is one of the most well know engineering colleges in Bangalore and I would like to thank Dr Ramakanth Kumar (HOD - CS/IT) for allow me and my colleague Arjun Srinivasan to reach out to about 100+ the students of RVCE on topics such as the New SAP, SAP University Alliances - Learn, Apply and Share, SAP HANA and related technologies. We took the opportunity to invite the students to be part of SAP Techniversity 2013. Just as a note, in 2012 around 200 students from RVCE took part in the event and we are eager to see a repeat performance!
Arjun is an alumni of RVCE and has had a long engagement with SAP University Alliances. He took part in the first students competition organized in 2011 - called the Dashboard Competition where he and his team mates stood 4th. In the following year he took part in yet another competition called SAP BizTech (with the same set of team mates - Sanjana and Akshatha) and this time they made it to the 2nd position. They had developed a mobile application to help poor farmers in India and help reduce suicides by them. In Feb 2013, he took part in yet another event call SAP Osmosis which was a 3 days coding extravaganza on SAP HANA, UI5 etc and this time he finally stood first!
It was great to see that most of the students of RV College of Engineering knew about SAP already and what are the different technologies that are support by us. Come Techniversity, they will get to learn more and more!
