        I’m curious to know what kind of response frequency you’re getting.  Strikes me that some of the questions are sort of “leading” – that is to say by the adjectives you use, you’re almost requiring them to rate themselves highly. 

        While this is interesting, I’d almost rather see you ask 5 scenario questions and then infer their level of innovation depending on their answers.  It just seems to me that retailers tend to think concretely.  If you ask them if they are “customer-centric” they will invariably reply “Yes, of course.”  But if you ask them specific questions, you get more to the core of just how customer-centric they are.
