1- OBJECTIVE

Below reports are very useful to provide the access to time administrators.

1) Missing time entries

2) Hours entered but not yet submitted for Approval

3)Hours entered but not Approved

4)display times that have been entered into CATS for one or multiple employees.

2-SAP Transaction codes

  • CATC
  • CATS_APPR -- time entries approval
  • CATS_DA - Display working times
  • CAT2 - employee time sheet
  • CAC1 -- resource, admini profile settings
  • CAC2 - field selection section
  • CATA

3- OVERVIEW

1) Missing time entries , transaction code : CATC (Time Sheet: Time Leveling) and standard report is RCATSCMP.

Purpose : Time administrators has monitor the employee time sheets every month or a week, if they found any missing time entries send back to employee / automation notification mail triggered into employee's inbox.

Back to CAT2 screen, no time entries in CAT2 screen

2) Hours entered but not yet submitted for Approval

Use transaction code- CATS_APPR

Select Employee subgroup and click on F4 option, appears sub screen shown as below.

In sub screen , you have to select the employee subgroupings accordingly.


Enter processing type - 10


Now you can see the below status is locked that means ready to approve the timesheet by the manager.

If the manager has approved the timesheets, the status should be change.

3) Hours entered but not  Approval , Use transaction code- CATS_APPR

Select Employee subgroup and click on F4 option, appears sub screen shown as below.

In sub screen , you have to select the employee subgroupings accordingly.

Enter processing type – 20
