3.   What scope you get?

SAP Supplier Life Cycle Management rapid-deployment solution helps you to implement the solution in about seven and half weeks with the following processes covered:

Supplier registration: A web portal based supplier self-service functionality enables initial suppliers to register themselves. Reducing the administrative      burden from Purchasing departments. Workflow-based approval of registration requests and assignment to purchasing categories makes the initial      onboarding quicker and more efficient. Also the supplier can maintain their own company and contact data, add users as needed, upload attachments, which      Category Manager can control & approve.

Supplier qualification:  SAP Supplier Life Cycle Management rapid-deployment solution offers a library of reusable questions of multiple types, allowing      easier creation and reuse of questions and questionnaires. Category manager can create Qualification Requests based on Qualification templates or flexible      requests which are powered by an evaluation scorecard using scores and weightings. Supplier under consideration receives these qualification questionnaire      requests through email. Once the response is submitted by supplier, Category manager can analyze the response and can see the score that solution      calculates based on the weighs the value of each question according to its importance. With automated workflow, you can launch a supplier promotion      process for the suppliers that deliver the results you expect. Managers also gets the full visibility over the process to monitor progress and keep the      qualification process moving forward.

Supplier evaluation: Supplier Evaluation provides a powerful method to evaluate suppliers using reusable questionnaires. Category manager can initiate the      evaluation request addressed to internal stakeholders acting as appraisers to gather their feedback regarding a supplier’s performance during a certain      time frame.  These evaluation requests help to identify suppliers’ strengths and weaknesses. And thus measures can be undertaken to further develop      suppliers’ strengths and correct their shortcomings in close collaboration with them.

Supplier classification: Enables you to do multiple classifications per supplier using flexible dimensions, for example factory, category, region. You use      supplier classification to identify the suppliers that are strategically important and critical to your business, thus enabling you to allocate the appropriate      resources to develop and manage your business relationship. Supplier classification is an ongoing process in which you assess and classify your suppliers      at regular intervals.
