Hello Everyone,

This is my first blog post on SCN 🙂

I have created a several Visualizations in Lumira Document for the DataGeek Challenge entry.

Here is more details on it.

2. Data – Includes Sales by Category

     a. Category Name

     b. Product Name

     c. Category Group (Created in Lumira)

     d. Sales Amount

     e. Product Name Count (Distinct – Created in Lumira)

3. Visualizations

a.Product Sales Amount by Category Name and Product Name (Horizontal Stacked Chart)

     b. Top 25 Product Name by Sales Amount (Pie Chart)

     c. Top 25 Product Name by Sales Amount (Tree Map)

     f. Comparison of Product Line Amount with Product Count (Distinct) for Category Name  (Line Chart with 2 Axis)

I had issue with the Lumira on displaying the lines on the chart (I guess bug).

4. Published in Lumira Cloud (https://cloud.saplumira.com/)

Thanks,

Rajan

      hey nice effort!

for your final chart (where the lines don't render correctly) - does it make a difference if you switch the UI preferences between Java and HTML5, and recreate that chart?

      Hi Henry,

Screenshots are rendered in HTML5 and thats where the issues is. Pie chart is also behaving abnormally. But if I take off HTML5 check box from preferences everything it works fine.

I think this is issue with HTML5 rendering.

      Thanks

      Henry,

No, I haven't contacted SAP with the issue yet. I guess I should let them know and hopefully it will be fixed in next release.

      Thanks

it's probably too late to include a new correction in the forthcoming SP12 (eta end Sept), but engage with tech support now, and SP13 is entirely possible.

or, with a bit of luck, it gets fixed internally for sp12.
