Would you please let me know if this approach was successful?? In my project similar situation and my question to the group is ..will there be any performance issues when multiple users accessing the universe which is pointing the text, csv file.

      1. Please help me understand the Pros & Cons of this approach

      2. This approach is suitable in what circumstances.

      Thanks for your response,

I have created a 32 - bit odbce connection by using Micorsoft text drivers. I published this to enterprise.

I built a query on universe.

I am able view this query on client tools, but not on BI Launc pad.

When I view this on BI Lauchpad I am getting below error.

Database error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source name not found and no

      default driver specifed.(IES 10901)

On my 64 - bit ODBC Administrator tool I can't see Microsoft drivers...

please advise me on this issue..

      Regards,

      Raja
