Join the SAP Education Virtual Symposium: “Leading the Talent of Tomorrow”
The direction of learning as it relates to talent management is a topic that seems to be growing in popularity lately. The discussions are endless around social, mobile delivery of learning content, just in-time learning, and micro-learning. Compliance and regulatory training is top of mind for many companies, as this could have expensive implications when companies are not able to report accurately which of their employees were trained on what, where, and when.
To address these topics, SAP Education will hold a virtual symposium on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10:00 am EST, entitled “Leading the Talent of Tomorrow”. During the symposium, you can hear from SAP, customers, partners, and analysts who are thought leaders on learning trends, best practices, and what’s hot and what’s not in the world of learning and learning delivery.

Learning addresses many things - talent development, information management, knowledge management, operational compliance, and, ultimately, positive business outcomes. There is no wrong. It is ALL right. Anxious to discuss it all on September 17.
Your right Mal. I don't think there is a "right or wrong" answer to learning, but it seems like the delivery of learning and how to chunk-it-up really has some companies re-thinking their strategy and more is not always better. I spoke to a company today in the mining industry and they are really interested in this notion of "tribal" learning and where social media is going in the learning world and what fits where and when. I would be interested in hearing from companies around how they are leveraging social learning in their learning programs and delivery.
