SAP Fiori and Mobile Portal, now available via a Rapid Deployment Solution

The SAP NetWeaver Portal, mobile edition is a multichannel role based single point of access to application (SAP and non-SAP, web and native) and content (documents, RSS feeds, and media) accessible to users anytime on multiple devices (desktop, smartphone and tablet).

SAP Fiori is an example of content that can be integrated into the portal seamlessly. It is a collection of applications providing a consistent and enhanced user experience of the most broadly and frequently used SAP software functions that can be accessed from mobile and desktop devices.

To accelerate the implementation of this joint scenario, SAP is now offering a new Rapid Deployment Solution (RDS) for SAP Fiori and the mobile portal. This new service will quickly and easily setup the mobile portal on your existing SAP NetWeaver Portal, and integrate the Fiori applications into it – proving you an extendable, role based, single point of access for your mobile apps and content.

Great benefit to customers who wish to leverage their portal as a global aggregation hub and add Fiori to the mix.

      Hi Aviad,

We are planning to set up mobile portal together with Fiori. But according to the pam information, neither of them is supported for the browser on Windows Phone 8. Do you know of any plans regarding the support fpr Windows Phones? I think it was mentioned in connection with the Mobile Portal already a long time ago, but even at that point with a remark that it is confirmed when it will be available.

      Best regards,

      Pekka
