Dear All,

I always thinks about ” What a functional consultant must have Business process knowledge or Customization Knowledge ? “

Through my till now experience in  SAP SD, I found functional Consultant must have excellent knowledge  in Business process & Documentation involved in day to today transaction in business rather than Customization. The reason behind this ,

  1. Knowledge on customization can be earned any time but for gaining knowledge on business processes is much more difficult.

  2. During conversation with the Process Owners & Users , Customization will never help you rather it will break your link in conversation.

  3. If you are friendly on processes then you can bridge the gap among the consultant & Client Representative.

  4. B’coz what matters to customer is whether you are able to understand his/ her business language ?

  5. Client doesn’t bother about what are going to do in the system ?  He just wants results…which can be delivered with understanding of business process only not through Config ?

I think this help us to grow exponentially …..
