BEx Report Dump Error – could not be converted CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA->_SIDVAL_DIRECT_READ2

Hey All,

Have you ever come across this error message and thought what to do ? I certainly did .. 😉  

SID ‘ ‘  for characteristic ‘ ‘  could not be converted CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA->_SIDVAL_DIRECT_READ2

Here is a program to check the inconsistencies in the master data tables and solve this error. ( some junk or error values in master data tables)

RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL.

Goto SE38, Run this Program.

Give the IOBJ Name , Check the Repair option and Execute.

you will find the all logs into green and error values are highlighted.

Now Run the Report. It ll work fine.
You can also check this in RSRV and Ensure Master data updated is activated, ACR , Aggregates are maintained.
