Social Sign On with Google is Now Available
For those of you who have been watching our log on form, you may have noticed that last week we completed our 2013 social sign on delivery with Google integration. Google accounts can now be used to log on to SCN. They include: Google, Google+, Gmail, etc.
You can now use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Google to sign on to SCN.

Just tried it and it works fine.
Does that mean that HANA Cloud Platform applications that use the ID Service have similar functionality?
D.
Yes, it is available to them and can choose when and if they would like to use it.
Great initiative ! What about our existing credentials ? +1 to the SCN Ignite which reminds me of Lumira: Ignite Creative Ideas !!
The existing credentials cannot be used because we need to have it as part of the log on process and retrieve the underlying ID from each social platform.
Superb idea..
