Data Geek Challenge – Analyzing the Human Resource Management in USA
SAP Lumira is one of the easy and fun to play with reporting tools. SAP Lumira includes numerous features and which are easier to explore. Data Geek Challenge has inspired many developers to explore SAP Lumira and has become a great way to share knowledge .
Here’s my story of data analysis while playing with the features of SAP Lumira 🙂 .
This blog includes my analysis on Human Resource Management data set.
Human Resource of a country includes the skills, talents and abilities that the country possess. Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a vital role in improving and maintaining the standard of living of the country. Human resource management includes activities that are undertaken by an organization/country to utilize its human resources effectively. These activities include but are not limited to, human resource planning, staffing, performance management, training and education, compensation and benefits, and labor relations.
I took the sample data of Human Resource Management and tried analyzing below aspects.
The below report (figure 1) shows the average annual salaries of employees spread across USA. The regions are colored as per the average annual salary of employees range.
|Red||41000 ~ 45000|
|Orange||45000 ~ 46500|
|Blue||46500 ~ 48000|
|Green||48000 ~ 53000|
The below report (figure 2) shows the spread of occupation in each region based on the employee count.
The below report (figure 3) shows the percentage share of training budget allocated to each occupation in USA.
Many more analysis can be done using this data sets. Looking forward to learn different point of views of data analysis through the data geek challenge. SAP Lumira is an amazing tool 😘 .
