“As a Product Manager presenting at TechEd, I know what the customer wants and that’s exactly what I try to give each and every time. I work in SAP HANA product management, so we have a lot of new features coming in the next year that are really exciting (and) I’m really excited to talk about them at SAP TechEd this year. There’s a lot of value in being able to talk to Product Managers one-one-one and get feedback, and there’s a lot of value for Product Managers such as myself to get feedback from the customer.”
Rich is a SAP TechEd veteran with an ABAP background specializing in SAP HANA development tools and SAP HANA Extended Application Services. Previously, he was a member of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Customer Solution Adoption (CSA) group as well as the EPM Solution Management group at SAP, where he focused on technical aspects of the SAP Planning and Consolidation, version for NetWeaver product. Before joining SAP in 2007, Rich worked for 6 years as an ABAP developer for a SAP customer. Rich is also the co-author of the SAP Press book, Next Generation ABAP Development, a regular contributor on SAP Community Network, and is inspired by music, photography, and cinema.
Attendees can expect to gain hands-on experience during his sessions on Introduction to SQL Script Basics and Debugging and SAP HANA Native Development – XS-Based Development.
