Derivation rule for Segment values in CO-PA in ECC.6.0 version

Hi,

Can anybody will explain how to derive the Segment values for Characteristic- Segment in CO-PA. I have created as a user defined characteristic for Segment in ECC.6.0 version and also i have maintained characteristic values for Segment also. Client wants to see the Segment level profitablity analysis. But i am unable to derive the Segmnet values through derivation rules.

Please explain me in detail how can do this in sap…
