CO11N confirmation with execution times

I need to confirm using CO11n but need to add the machine start and end time of the execution for reporting purpose only.  I don’t want to use CO19.  This is a discrete manufacturing operation.  By entering the start and finish execution  in the dates area of CO11n, will this hinder any other operations in CO11n or in the production order or will it just be kept as information only.  Our goal it to enter the start and finish execution date and time for information only.
