About Master Data Completion

Master Data Completion allows you to fill inbound xml-s with the missing Master Data information.

To set up this function you have to go into TA SPRO.

Here you select Supply Network Collaboration and Basic Settings.

In Basic Settings you go to Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages and Maintain Settings for Master Data Completion.

Here you can select for which type of inbound xml, you want to set up Master Data Completion.For example let’s take a look at DespatchedDeliveryNotification.

You select the xml type and then press Profile table.

Here you see the data types which can be filled with Master Data Completion.

When you have decided what data you want to fill, you have to choose a method which describes from where Master Data Completion the wanted data pulls. Lets take method 05 as an example, Master Data Completion will look for the ship-from location in the PO referenced in the xml, and will fill in ship-from location in the xml.
