SAP University Alliances joined hands with SAP HANA Team and came together with The Indus entrepreneurs (TiE),for the enterpreuners to have a meet where closed to 50 new start ups and 10 University Alliances members including students and professors were there to understand the importance and working of HANA and how they can leverage their business with HANA.I was overwhelmed and happy to see so many young owners of the new start ups and after listening to their thoughts, rest assured our country will no more be a land of job seekers rather sooner it will be a land of job providers and enterpreuner.
So the event started on 25th June sharp at 10:00 am at ICC Towers and a brief introduction of each participaant and their expectations were asked . The participants were diversified group of vastly experienced techies, young budding enterpreuners, Key people from SMBs ,faulty members and students of various colleges and even venture capitalists. Particpants were given brief intro on HANA
I happened to meet a student from SCIT Pune ( UA member) and was asking about his experiences from the 2 day workshop and captured his experiences to youtube
It was nice to see so many students who are either planning to start their own start ups or have just newly started coming together for the common purpose and it was HANA 
I along with other participants learnt about in memory technology , about DRAM the “d” stands for destructive: it doesn’t hold data if you lose power. Basically what was so buzz about HANA and big data and how data is doubling every 18 months and how HANA can handle it for companies and not only handle it rather analyze and give results for business purposes
They were firm with their purpose and expectation from this technology and so were the instructors from SAP.It is being said Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage.Well they knew what their obstacles were and what opportunities could HANA can provide them
