ShipfromLocation could not be determined from SA Reference

You have XML messages failing in SNC system with the error msg. “ShipfromLocation could not be determined  from SA Reference”.

In most of the cases this is caused by customizing not set up correctly.

In this case you have to go to TA. SPRO in your SNC system.

Select SAP Reference IMG   >

     Supply Network Collaboration   >

          Basic Settings   >

               Processing Inbound and Outbound Messages   >

                    Maintain Settings for Master Data Completion

Now choose the row with MDProfile = SDELINFY. Then click on Profile

table.

For Ship-From Location you have to select method 06

Take First Location Found Using SA Reference.

After setting the customizing, it should work properly. If you still get the message, re-CIFing the transport lane will help you.
