AFSUG Business Analytics SIG launches Women in Analytics!

South Africa commemorates Women’s Month in August as a tribute to the thousands of women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women. Since that eventful day, the value that women play in society is celebrated and recognised during the month of August. This year, the Business Analytics Steercom would like to extend this recognition by“Launching a Women in Analytics Initiative”. This initiative serves to recognise the critical role that women continuously play in the Analytics area within our organisations. If you are in South Africa, are an AFSUG member and:- Are inspired, in awe of or celebrate a woman who has been an Analytics Champion in your organisation. Want to recognise a woman in the SAP Analytics community who has made a difference in your career or a woman who has mentored or coached you, please nominate her. We will be featuring these awesome women on our “Women in Analytics” Newsletter and will of course be sending them a hamper to show our appreciation for their hard work.
