SAP Operational Process Intelligence is Generally Available!

We are pleased to announce the general availability of SAP Operational Process Intelligence 1.0, powered by SAP HANA. SAP Operational Process Intelligence (#SAPOPInt) is a new decision-support solution for the front lines of business, delivering real-time process visibility across SAP and Non-SAP business systems and data – for intelligent business operations in real-time. In the past six months we have been working extensively with 12 customers and 6 partners across various industries and geographies, helping them ramp-up on the usage of SAP Operational Process Intelligence.

Using #SAPOPInt, these customers were able to gain visibility into their end-to-end processes running in SAP process platforms – SAP transactions in the Suite, SAP Business Workflows and orchestrated processes using NetWeaver BPM in quick time. For these customers, #SAPOPInt provided:

• instance-level visibility of end-to-end processes based on high-level phases and milestones (instead of technical execution or transaction details)
• ability to rapidly respond to instances violating cycle time KPIs in real-time
  
• ability to define measures and key process indicators and track process performance across various dimensions
