SAP has just kicked off a Global Cloud Campaign the week of the 8-12th July. To give you an idea , 12 language pages have been created to serve multiple countries across all regions (North America; the whole EU, Middle East and Eastern Europe; Latin America & Caribean; APJ – including Australia Neu Zeeland). The 1st phase of the campaign consists of email etc. with social media is seen as a key component.

The social media campaign has 2 waves. In wave 1, the main assets are an eBook and an infographic and key blogs (e.g. Is Cloud about technology? .. ).

Wave 2 will promote the various assets referenced within the eBook.

So why is this of interest to this group? Because of the various tools used in the execution of this campaign as well as the lessons learned from such a global campaign.

In this series of blogs I will share some of our learnings. I may not be able to proivide exact details of all aspects of the campaign due to company confidentiality, but I can definately share with you how we use e.g. SAP Jam for internal program coordination, Social Media Analytics in the cloud (NetBase) , Omniture , Sprinklr.

This program is exciting from a SAP Cloud perspective, but also personally as we have a great opportunity to track the usage & impact of social media across multiple languages/Countries/regions.
