OpenSAP Course – Introduction to Mobile Solution Development

Hi Everyone,

I just opened OpenSAP today for checking my Extra Knowledge assessment result for SAP HANA course and saw that they are starting a new course for Mobile Development.

I checked and found that no one has shared anything about it yet on SCN so thought of sharing about it.

As most of you would be knowing that SAP has started OpenSAP – a MOOC(Massive Open Online Courses) and started with the training on “Introduction to Software Development on SAP HANA”.

Now they are starting a new course from September 9, 2013 called “Introduction to Mobile Solution Development for the Enterprise”.

It introduces us on what it takes  to make an enterprise-ready app with SAP Mobile solutions and will be featuring the following topics:

Course Content

Week 1: Introduction to Mobile Development

Week 2: Enterprise Mobility

Week 3: Creating an Enterprise-ready Application

Week 4: OData

Week 5: Client Design and Implementation Choices

Week 6: Enterprise Security Concept & Outlook

The course is open to everyone –  anyone can enroll for it.

Similar to SAP HANA Course this course will also run for six weeks, starting on September 9, 2013, it requires half a day of study time per week. With a mix of online lectures, self-tests,

You can register for OpenSAP here : https://open.sap.com/

Course details : https://open.sap.com/course/mobile1

The SAP HANA course was awesome and was very successful and now i am looking forward to this course

Regards,

Vivek

Just posted a quick update to this topic and referenced this blog post; there is more hands-on content SAP offers that could potentially work well alongside this openSAP course: http://scn.sap.com/community/mobile/blog/2013/08/14/going-hands-on-with-what-you-learn-from-the-new-opensap-course-on-mobile-development
