Using Mobile BI With SAP Lumira Cloud Against SAP ERP

In my previous document SAP Lumira: Getting Familiar Freehand SQL Against SAP ERP – then to iPad I showed how to do freehand SQL against your SAP ERP system on the iPad.

This time, I am accessing Lumira Cloud against Mobile BI 5.0.  What are the benefits?  The benefits are sharing, annotating, and e-mailing using Mobile BI 5 on the iPad.

I created Figure 1 “ad hoc” in the cloud, meaning I dragged and dropped the measures and attributes over.

I can use the Analyze tab to change it do a different type of chart, text, etc.

Figure 3 shows I am now enabling the Mobile BI features and toolbar.

So now I can “share”, e-mail, annotate, etc.

Figure 4 shows I can share with someone and the options are the individual can view it on the Lumira cloud or edit the view.

A great feature shown in Figure 5 is being able to circle, annotate and write in some text – why is there a spike in the data?

Figure 6 shows you can send an e-mail with your annotations

Figure 7 shows how it looks in e-mail.

I was able to do all of this without opening a book, manual or looking at the SAP help.  This is not typical for me so I think it says a great deal as to ease of use.
